Membership

The Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs (MAFC) represents the Fire Chiefs of Michigan on legislation and regulations that affect the fire, rescue and emergency medical services.   Membership within the association provides the following benefits:

  • Training on a whole range of fire, EMS and other emergency management related matters, labor relations and operations.
  • Departmental assistance in matters of concern, such as flammable liquids, fire prevention, EMS, safety, testing and updating your records and operations.
  • Networking with a large number professionals within the fire service

Each year, the MAFC hosts one of the largest annual fire services conferences in the country.  This conference provides members a chance to see all the latest in equipment and apparatus.
